What is Trance?
According
to Webster's Collegiate Dictionary trance is:
A state of partly
suspended animation or inability to function.
What is Transformation?
1. A forming over; a change; restructuring.
2. A change in physical condition.
3. The results of movement because of 2 primal forces. (energy of sitter and energy of spirit)
Transformation takes place while in a partial sleep trance or full sleep trance. It is the subtle appearance of the spirit or disincarnate being over the face of the sitter.
The following report form was sent in to reference the transfiguration on Reverend Richard Schoeller, Pastor of the Summerland Church of Light, NSAC, Hauppauge, New York. This particular trance session took place on March 24, 2007, at the Memorial Spiritualist Church of Norfolk, Virginia. The wording has only been altered for story purposes. All information is exact.
Type of Phenomena and Description of Event:
Reverend Schoeller was guest speaker and workshop leader at the Memorial Spiritualist Church of Norfolk, Virginia. This was a Trance and Transfiguration workshop where a sitting for phenomena took place at the end of the class. Reverend Lelia Cutler was the control. Rev. Schoeller went into a trance state to allow spirit to use him as a pallet for "transfiguration". This took approximately thirty-five to forty minutes and during that time a number of individuals transfigured upon the face of Reverend Schoeller. One woman reported seeing her mother and grandmother. Others saw more later in the session.

The Trance and Transfiguration workshop was held in the
Church area with a chair set on the platform.
Richard was draped in black to help block any distraction form colorful
clothing. Lights in the Church were
turned off and the windows were covered to block out any external
light. A red light was focused upon his face. Rev. Cutler opened the
sitting with a
prayer; singing of songs and then quiet while the transfiguration took
place. At the end Rev. Cutler closed
with another prayer and slowly helped Richard return to an awareness of
his
surroundings.
The Evidence: The most evidential transfiguration was that of Reverend Barbara Thurman, former President of The National Spiritualist Association of Churches who passed to spirit 3 years ago. A number of people were present and witnessed this phenomena including: Reverend Lelia Cutler, Current President of NSAC and Reverend Kathleen Cribb others on the signature page of the Phenomenal Evidence Report were also Ann Marie Croteau and Frank Cribb.

I also have no doubts in Rev. Barbara Thurman being around Reverend
Lelia Cutler as Rev. Thurman may be trying to guide and give Rev. Cutler
